You may may need to give your vegetables some additional watering. Usually the Irish weather does a great job of supplying all the water the vegetables need. But there has been very little rainfall for the past few weeks. If you are not already watering your bed then you may need to do so. To check, stick your finger into the compost. It should feel slightly damp and cold. If it feels warm and dry then you need to water. 5-10 litres of water twice per week should be sufficient.
